While making commercial photos for a large catalog studio with major retail accounts, I was presented with new lighting challenges every day. From cellophane wrapped candy to glassware to black speaker cabinets, I quickly learned to analyze objects for form, texture and transmissive or reflective qualities.

Taking advantage of how light ineracts with various surfaces is one of Photography's greatest joys.
